Reform Pilates is the new kid on the block, and it’s got everyone talking.

For those who haven’t heard, Reform Pilates is a 45-minute full body workout using a Reform bed that will get you strong, sculpt your body, and improve your posture and flexibility. 

It’s all instructor-led and will help you see results fast, but don’t take it from us, take it from our members!

We’ve gone to those who’ve experienced Reform Pilates firsthand, and they’ll tell you what all the buzz is about, and why you need to try a class. 

How long have you been doing reformer pilates and what made you start?

Samara: “I’ve been doing reformer on and off for a few years now. I really enjoyed Mat Pilates, but I was attracted to the added resistance of the reformer machine and the wider variety of exercises.”

Annie: “I’ve been going to reformer for three years and haven’t looked back. I love that you can easily modify the exercises to make them more challenging or slightly easier depending on your skill or energy levels.” 

What drew you to joining Reform Pilates at Goodlife? 

Samara: “When I saw the reform studio with a massive timetable was coming to my neighbourhood (in addition to access to a whole gym and other fab classes), I signed up straight away! To be able to have unlimited weekly classes for the same price of just one class in another studio was too good to pass up.” 

Annie: “The value for money is a no-brainer. Being able to attend unlimited classes for the same price as just a single class elsewhere is incredible.” 

Marina: “Having the exercises on screens, giving the instructor the ability to be present in the class and more focused on how we’re moving and being more interactive with us is definitely a drawcard for me.” 

What makes Reform Pilates different from other programs?

Marina: “The instructors are so friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable. It makes a big difference having that welcoming face especially when it’s sometimes 5am in the morning and you’re still half asleep.” 

Samara: “I think the variety and number of classes scheduled throughout the week is amazing! All the instructors are super knowledgeable and effortlessly offer alternatives to all fitness levels.” 

Annie: “There are more beds, and the classes are always full, it makes the atmosphere so much better to participate in. The community here in our studio is great – I’ve made some really good friends since joining.” 

What’s the best part of Reform Pilates? 

Samara: “It’s impossible to choose just one! It’s the combination of exercises shown on screens, the instructors and the great music that makes Reform Pilates so great. 

Marina: “It’s a full body workout that can be tailored to any fitness level, from beginner to those who are more advanced and confident on a Reform bed. You’re in and out in 45mins with a great full body workout.” 

Annie: “I love the structure of the classes. You know that whatever class you go to you are guaranteed to get a great workout and get a little stronger.”

How does Reform Pilates make you feel? 

Annie: “After a workout, I’m knackered, but in a good way! I love that since I’ve started Reform I’m stronger, healthier, and happier.” 

Samara: “Reform Pilates helps me to feel stronger, physically, and mentally. It is challenging, but in the best possible way.”

Marina: “I do the morning classes and although it’s sometimes tough waking up early, it’s the best way to start the day. I find I’m so much more productive after a workout.”
